Some people feel happy with working in a reasonably decent environment to earn a living, spending time with their loved ones and watching TV or practicing a hobby on their spare time. That’s a good life for them. But there are others ~are you among them?~ to whom this routine spells death. If you are one these people, understand this:

Your Soul is older.

You are called to another order.

Just survival is ~for you~ torture.

You were made for a vaster purpose.

Nothing will do for you except to understand, embody and practice the purpose for which you were created. You came here to serve a larger scope.

What is holding you back? What obscure, invisible force inside you convinces you that you are not good enough, not ready or inadequate to launch that book, project or business? Why do you keep fixing yourself, tinkering with details or going for one more certificate instead of stepping into the limelight? You have centuries of prohibitions in your Herstory, sister. You were not allowed to vote, earn a living or have a bank account until the other day. The great philosophers in history ~from Aristotle to Nietzsche~ all said that you were incompetent either explicitly or implicitly. Is it a wonder that you doubt? As a woman you need to give yourself Emotional Permission to succeed and you need to release the Emotional Prohibitions that centuries of invalidation have imprinted in your DNA and your psyche. It’s simple: most of us were trained to believe that there’s nothing special in us, that geniuses are extremely smart people like Einstein and that we are not that creative. In fact, being creative has a bad rap! But it’s all a lie. You’ve been shrunk into a tiny box. It’s time to spring out of the box, like a bold Jackie-in-the-Box who breaks her attachment. It’s time to take back your genius. Know this without a shadow of a doubt: you were born as a creator. Creativity is what makes you human, and you have it. In fact, you cannot NOT create. What may be happening is that you are creating more of the same old story because you were trained in the belief that you cannot design your own way, that you cannot be the author of your own life story. This has trapped you in the habit of distrusting and dismissing your imagination. But that trust is exactly what turns your Creative Genius off. It’s time to turn it on!
